Capacity building is one of the vital facts in the improvement of efficiency and effectiveness of organizations as well as individuals. It helps to identify the strengths and weaknesses of individuals and to develop strategies to improve their performance. It leads to improved service delivery, better decision making and increased productivity

As the Minister of Education, I strongly believe that training of Data Officers in educational organizations is essential for the successful implementation of digital initiatives and data-driven decision-making and policy formation in the education sector.

Professional development of Data Officers enables them to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge necessary to carry out their responsibilities effectively with the accomplishment of valuable insights to help the education system to create a more effective way of communication with stakeholders.

My aspiration is to see the entire education system take advantage of this training to enhance their data management strategies.
